We have manufacturing facilities in Benoni, Port Elizabeth and KwaZulu-Natal. We have 3 single width and 5 double width computerised cutting machines spread over our three branches.

RIGIFOAM manufacture Polyurethane (PUR) and Polyisocyanurate (PIR) in a discontinuous block form. Density ranges from 32kg/m3 to 80kg/m3 in both grades. Both products are closed cell thermoset materials used predominantly as a thermal insulation. All our grades are OZONE friendly and do not contain HCFC's.

PIR foam is recommended for applications where high fire risks are present. With an index of 300 plus indicates that our PIR foam is NOT a highly fire retarded PUR. Toxicity reports are available on request.
RIGIFOAM are always looking at ways to improve its product range, staying ahead with new technologies, this makes us unique in that we can tailor-make foam to suit everyone's application. All our technology is in house and are totally independent raw material sourcing.
With 2 full production facilities (Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth) RIGIFOAM has the resources to manufacture 300m3 per day in a single shift, including a converting facility in Natal there are 8 CNC cutting units.
All foam is cut or converted into sizes and forms to suit the end application using 2 dimensional CNC cutters. All foam is supplied under the SABS 1383 specification and audited by DQS ISO 9001 system.
Rigibond 5 is a two-component filled polyurethane adhesive for use in the lamination of various materials. The adhesive does not contain any solvents. The adhesive has a relatively long pot life with a clamp release of +/- 4 to 6 hours, depending on the application. This adhesive is suitable for batch mixing. This adhesive bonds porous materials like soft board and gypsum very well.
